Two hours of lovely weather, the usual festive fun & games with storm kettles, socially distanced mince pies/mulled punch, followed by a 30 minute downpour. All in all a very enjoyable morning.

Best attendance of the year today (20!) for an enjoyable morning of coppicing and planting hazel.  It takes more than a little bit of snow to stop us enjoying our coffee & biscuits!  The first hedge laying session of the season got off to a good start, the team being fuelled with doughnuts kindly donated by our good friend Nigel.  Mince pies and hot fruit punch at tea break today courtesy of Santa and his storm kettle. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all you wonderful Holt Copse people. See you on Jan 13th!  |
